Moseley Architects, recognized as one of the most trusted and fastest growing design firms in the mid-atlantic, is seeking an experienced full-time architect to be an integral member of our Baltimore, Maryland office location. 
 
The ideal candidate will have worked with senior living projects in an architectural firm in a project management capacity for 5-15 years and have a degree in architecture. Communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as self-motivation, enthusiasm and a positive outlook are needed for this position. Equally important than any of those skills and prior experiences is the attribute that you have a deep and sincere interest in senior living issues, an innate ability to collaborate and an extraordinary level of personal initiative.
 
Location:  Baltimore, Maryland

Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university.  
  • 5+ years of experience in an architecture firm serving for profit and not for profit clientele. 
  • Senior Living design experience a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with managing principals to develop project designs from conceptual sketches through construction documents.
  • Produce aesthetically appealing designs and renderings.
  • Develop documents that achieve technical excellence.
  • Manage project teams for multiple small projects or one large scale project.
  • Foster and maintain positive professional working relationship among team members.
  • Provide consistent and timely communication of project information to and from clients and the project team.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants.
  • Thrive in a deadline driven environment with a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and problem solve.

A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and driving record, as deemed acceptable by our firm’s liability insurance carrier, must be presented and maintained.
