We are currently seeking an MEP Engineer for a full-time employment opportunity in our Baltimore, Maryland office.  In this leadership role, the MEP Engineer will meet with clients, manage projects and supervise an MEP engineering team. We are looking for a leader who can grow our engineering presence and staff in the Baltimore area.

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

  • 12-15 years of mechanical or electrical engineering design experience with an A/E or MEP consulting firm.
  • A four-year engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
  • PE is required.   
  • Direct experience working with Multi-Family Housing and Senior Living project types is a plus.

  • Experience with calculations, design, layout and specification of commercial and institutional mechanical and electrical building systems.
  • Extensive understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and telecommunications systems.
  • Good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, International Mechanical Code, and International Plumbing Code.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects as the senior MEP engineer including management of other engineering team members.

Required Skills
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within an A/E environment as a successful member of multi-discipline project teams. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
  • A keen eye for details and serve as a resourceful troubleshooter and problem solver.
  • Strong leadership skills to successfully coach, guide, and delegate responsibilities during high-demand situations.

Software Proficiencies
  • Good working knowledge of REVIT.

A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and driving record, as deemed acceptable by our firm’s liability insurance carrier, must be presented and maintained.
