Moseley Architects, recognized as one of the most trusted and fastest growing design firms in the mid-atlantic, is seeking a full-time Quality Control Reviewer to be an integral member of our team. The Quality Control Reviewer shall maintain quality control methods that will maximize the accuracy, thoroughness, appearance, efficiency, bid ability, constructability and serviceability of our end product while minimizing our liability and cost.
 
Additional emphasis should be placed upon corporate policies, procedures, practices, training and continued education. 
 
Location: Candidate may elect to work from any one of the following Moseley Architects office locations: 
  • North Carolina- Charlotte or Raleigh
  • South Carolina- Columbia
  • Virginia - Richmond, Fairfax, or Virginia Beach
  • Maryland- Flexible
 
Experience
  • 15+ years of experience
  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Support the project design process through clear and timely conveyance of the firm’s quality philosophy and its relationship to the overall project and firm objectives.
  • Implement Redi-check system for drawings review
  • Review construction drawings for coordination of disciplines.
  • Maintain a procedure for periodic and timely review of construction drawings.
  • Help keep technical specifications updated and progressive with respect to emerging applications and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain historical information relative to previous project problem areas, and instruct technical staff as to future avoidance.

Software Proficiencies
  • Navisworks highly desirable
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Newforma and Deltek Vision desirable
  • Revit/BIM a plus
  • MasterWorks a plus
  • AIA MasterSpec a plus

A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and driving record, as deemed acceptable by our firm’s liability insurance carrier, must be presented and maintained.
