Experience and Education
3-5 years of experience with sustainable design in an architectural design environment is a plus
A Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science, architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, or a related field is required
Experience with energy modeling, energy analytics, embodied carbon modeling and daylight modeling preferred
Manage green building design and construction milestones
Assist with development of sustainability documentation
Assist with review of construction drawings for compliance with sustainability requirements
Review construction submittals for compliance with sustainability requirements
Develop and deliver presentations on an as-needed basis
Participate in planning studies
Travel, as required
Detailed knowledge of the LEED BD+C rating system and sustainable design concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency working with multiple sustainability frameworks, such as the LEED® Green Building Rating Systems (LEED-NC, LEED for Schools, LEED-EBOM, or LEED for Homes), the International Green Construction Code (IgCC), Green Globes, Earthcraft, NGBS, or Enterprise Green Communities.
Work experience in design or construction industries.
Ability to assist diverse members of a project team with sustainability strategies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment with little oversight.
Relentless attention to organization, detail, and follow-through.
Daylight and energy modeling (preferred)
