We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our collaborative AE team in Charlotte, NC or Richmond, VA. Our engineers have considerable building design experience involving institutional and/or commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina; Richmond, Virginia
Experience:
7-10 years of design experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering required.
PE registration or the ability to obtain licensure.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and design skills along with solid written and verbal communication abilities.
Masonry, steel, concrete, and wood framing experience.
Solid proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with structural analysis and design software (Tekla, TEDDs, and RISA).
Organization and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment.
Can work effectively within an AE environment possessing a commitment to fostering collaborative teamwork.
Ability to travel to project sites and interact with contractors.
