Moseley Architects is currently seeking a full-time Design Technology Specialist to be an integral member of our team in our Charlotte, NC office. This position works closely with members of design team and other Design Technology Management team members to ensure accurate and efficient project documents are created utilizing BIM. In this role, you'll be active in developing the discipline standards, identifying goals and objectives for the utilization of BIM, and monitoring progress of the BIM from the project initiation to final delivery. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Experience
At least 4 years design experience.
Background in BIM Software experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Attend monthly BIM progress meetings.
Creation and Evaluation of MEP BIM content and standards
Documentation of companywide standards and expectations
Coordinate firm-wide technologies, standards and guidelines with fellow BIM Management team members in other disciplines on a consistent and regular basis
Work with BIM Management team to provide timely support by fielding daily questions regarding BIM from all disciplines where appropriate.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge in Autodesk Revit Software
General knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practice and construction documentation process
Organization and the ability to give strict attention to detail, be a good troubleshooter and problem solver who works well under pressure with a can-do attitude
Firm understanding of design trends, construction methodology, and material application
Strong communication and presentation skills
