We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to be an integral member of our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have considerable building design experience, involving institutional or commercial projects, from schematic design through construction administration. Location: Richmond, Virginia
Experience
- 7+ years of design experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering required.
- Master’s degree and/or PE registration is a plus.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Masonry, steel, concrete, and wood framing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software (Tekla, TEDDs, and RISA).
- Ability to successfully organize and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work effectively within an A/E environment with a commitment to fostering collaborative teamwork.
- Ability to travel to project sites and interact with contractors.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit (BIM), Bluebeam Sessions, Microsoft Office Suite.
