Facilities Manager

Richmond, VA
We are currently seeking a part-time Facilities Manager to be an integral member of our team in our Richmond, Virginia office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and physical operation of a 47,000 SF facility including building and grounds maintenance.  If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you.

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Experience
  • 1-5 years’ experience of general building maintenance

Responsibilities
  • Exterior:  Lawn care, general maintenance and upkeep of building and grounds.
  • Interior:  Monitoring and maintaining building operations, recycling collection, general maintenance and oversight of contracted services provided by outside vendors.  
  • Assistance with set up for large group meetings, incidental cleaning, minor repairs, and other assistance as requested.
  • Coordinate maintenance of equipment and company vehicles, ordering of janitorial supplies, performing general office upkeep, other duties as assigned.
  • Physical requirements:  Duties require good overall physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb and work from a ladder, walking, reaching, lifting and bending associated with maintenance duties.

  • Microsoft Office

Part-time Benefits
As a part-time employee working less than 30 hours each week, this position is not eligible for any of our group benefits. However, the candidate would be able to participate in our 401(k) plan.
